It’s hard to believe that Christmas is now just round the corner, about to cap off a wild and unexpected 2020.
We must all be feeling exhausted, although light seems to be at the end of the tunnel with imminent deployment of Covid-19 vaccines. That is all the more reason for us to kick back and slow down our engines, taking comfort in the yearly Christmas tradition of gathering with loved ones.
But where to go for some good traditional Christmas food? We’re not a food blog here, but we have some suggestions of five Christmas menus in Singapore for different budgets. Don’t worry, we won’t leave out the classic Cold Storage bundles too, in case you—understandably—feel like staying home this year.

Sofitel Singapore’s Xperience Restaurant
The Xperience Restaurant in Sofitel Singapore is known for their three-tier brunch towers with dainty appetisers, both sweet and savoury. This year, they have modified it to include a festive touch, including appetisers like pate en croute and artisanal cold cuts and cheeses.
At the same time, you won’t miss out on whole roasted turkey, homemade honey baked ham and Australian Grain Fed Tomahawk, as well as luxurious seafood items like garlic butter roasted boston lobster, poached Alaskan King crab leg and otah stuffed squid & garlic soy glaze.

Here’s a great option if you’re seeking to go to somewhere “un-Singapore like”. Not gonna lie, it will still be hot outside, but within Capella Singapore, you will be in the middle of 30 acres of rainforest grounds and facing the sea, which will take your mind off the busy WFH grind.
The Knolls in Capella will be serving Yuletide delights such as oven roasted turkey with sauteed chestnuts and porcini and cheese ravioli with black winter truffle.
