AutoZone is a national retailer that sells automotive replacement parts and accessories. Its rewards program is free to join and has one of the most generous rewards conversion rates we’ve seen.

AutoZone Rewards at a glance

  • Earn a $20 reward for five purchases of at least $20.
  • Exclusive member promotions.
  • Must spend at least $20 to earn a credit toward your reward.
  • Requires five separate purchases to earn a reward.

Verdict

When you create an account on AutoZone’s website to place an online order, AutoZone automatically signs you up for its rewards program. So if you like shopping online, there’s no downside to enrolling. Once you’ve earned your $20 reward, you have three months to redeem it.

How do AutoZone Rewards work?

With AutoZone Rewards, every time you spend at least $20 on a qualifying purchase, you’ll get a credit. Five credits earn a $20 reward that you can spend on a future purchase online or in-store. In other words, you’ll need to spend at least $100 at AutoZone to earn a $20 certificate, which works out to about 20% back in rewards.

Each credit expires after one year. And once your reward is issued, you’ll have 90 days to spend it.

Redeem your rewards in-store by pulling up your account and informing a sales associate that you’d like to apply the rewards to your purchase. If you’re shopping online, select Redeem on the Order summary and payment page before placing your order.

Bottom line

AutoZone is a great way to earn rewards credit. But you’ll need to spend at least $20 on five separate purchases in one year to earn your reward, which means you’ll have to regularly shop there .

But if that doesn’t match up with your shopping habits, consider another rewards program.
