Cost of pint in London double the global average

  • Average price of a pint in London is £4.76, around £2.15 more than the global average
  • Caracas, Venezuela is the cheapest at just £0.51 a pint while Dubai breaks the bank at £8.58

27 December 2017- According to research collated by price comparison site, finder.com, the price of a pint in London is almost double the average price around the world.

Finder.com has compared the price of a pint in 177 of the world’s most populated cities*. According to latest cost of living data, London ranks in the top 25 most expensive cities to buy a pint (22nd), costing around £4.76 on average.

The cost of a pint in London is almost double the global average, which is around £2.61 a pint. Ranking cheaper than London are Sydney, Tokyo and Toronto, while a pint in Oslo, Norway, Zurich, Switzerland and Reykjavik in Iceland is up to £3.20 more expensive.

However, the cheapest pint in the world can be found in Caracas, Venezuela at £0.512 and the dearest discovered in Dubai at a whopping £8.58.
