        WorldRemit will send your recipient an SMS message once the transfer has been initiated. They will provide your recipient with a transaction number and directions of how they can collect the funds. Additionally, you will also receive an SMS on your phone that will notify you once your beneficiary has received the money.

        You may also contact WorldRemit customer support to assist you in tracking your money transfer.

      Can I send money to Ghana on mtn mobile money wallet from Guinea,Conakry through World remit service?

        Thanks for your inquiry.

        You can send MTN money to Ghana via World Remit. The intended recipient must have an MTN Mobile Money account, which is an electronic account linked to their MTN mobile phone. You choose how much you want to send and pay online. The money will then arrive in the recipient’s account in the local currency, Ghanaian cedi.

        Once the mobile money transfer has been made, the recipient can use their mobile wallet to pay for goods, public transport costs and even household bills. Importantly, they can also withdraw the money as cash.

For example, WorldRemit can make transfers to Kenya as quickly as within an hour, while a service like TransferWise may take 1-2 days.

        For WorldRemit, cash pickup transfers can be available for collection within minutes. If you haven’t received your money yet, you might want to speak to your friend and ask for the tracking number. Confirm with your friend if the money was really sent.

        Your friend can also track exactly where his/her transfer is by using the tracking feature on the website of WorldRemit and on their app. By doing so, he/she can tell you the status of the money.

        If all else fail and you haven’t received your money, you might want to directly speak to WorldRemit.

      My wife sent me some money to me here in Nigeria through WorldRemit 6 hours ago and I haven’t recieved anything yet. It’s a bank deposit. Keep saying transaction is processing. What’s happening?

        Bank transfers via WorldRemit take within 2-5 working days. If the transfer is taking longer than expected, you can check with your bank to find out what could be causing the delay.

Bank deposits can vary depending on the receiving bank and the country in which it is located. As a recipient, you’ll be receiving an SMS once the payment is available for collection, if your sender chooses cash pickup.
