Allied provides multiple types of coverage and discounts when insuring your motorcycle. But if you don’t live in one of the states it does business in, you’ll have to check out your other motorcycle insurance options.

What motorcycle insurance coverage does Allied offer?

Allied offers all of the standard coverage, including:

  • Liability. This covers bodily injury to another person or damage to their motorcycle or car when you’re at fault in an accident.
  • Collision. Coverage for damage to your bike that results from a crash, including $2,000 for damage to your helmets, leathers and other safety gear.
  • Comprehensive. Get protection for damage due to something other than a collision, like fire or theft.
  • Uninsured/underinsured. You’ll be protected if you’re involved in an accident with a driver without the coverage to cover the costs of damages.

What extra benefits and add-ons does Allied offer for bikes?

In addition to the basic motorcycle coverages, Allied also offers:

  • Custom equipment. With comprehensive coverage, you get $3,000 in coverage for parts, custom paint and accessories. You can purchase additional coverage up to $30,000.
  • Guest passenger bodily injury. Passengers are covered if they are injured while riding with you.
  • Roadside assistance. Get help with a flat tire, jump or tow. You can also upgrade to trip interruption expenses when you are 100 miles or more away from home.
  • Towing and labor. Get reimbursed for towing and the cost to repair your bike.
  • Original equipment manufacturer (OEM). If your bike needs repairs, only the manufacturer’s original equipment will be used to make the repair.
  • Agreed value for replacement. Get an agreed upon replacement amount based on a formal appraisal instead of the current market value after depreciation. Classic and collector bikes are ideal for this option.

What types of motorcycles does Allied cover?

In addition to traditional motorcycles, Allied also covers:

  • Custom bikes
  • Trikes
  • Assembled and kit bikes
  • Vintage bikes

What motorcycle insurance discounts can I get with Allied?

Save money on your insurance premium by taking advantage of these discounts:

  • Multipolicy discount. Combine your home, auto and motorcycle policies.
  • Multivehicle discount. Insuring more than one motorcycle on the same policy will bring savings.
  • Safety course discount. Take an approved safety course to bring the cost of your premium down.
  • Theft-recovery discount. Get a 20% discount for having a radio or GPS theft-recovery system professionally installed.
  • Riding association discount. Membership in a motorcycle association gets you a discount.
  • Antilock brake discount. Save 5% if your bike has a factory-installed two- or three-wheel anti-lock braking system.
  • Homeowner discount. If you own your home, you’ll save money on your motorcycle insurance.
  • Paid in full discount. Paying for a full year upfront saves you 10%.
