It’s difficult to gauge whether SurveyWorld is legitimate or not.

The SurveyWorld website is light on details but is run by Syno International, a legit company based in Lithuania. Syno International is a member of, or is represented by a member of, reputable professional associations like ESOMAR and Insights Association. And when you create an account with SurveyWorld, you’ll be presented with a list of available survey opportunities just like on any other survey platform.

But a quick Google search for SurveyWorld turns up a separate website, surveyworld.com. It has the same name, the same logo and looks quite similar to the Syno International SurveyWorld website. But this second platform is a survey aggregator that connects you with partner survey sites, and its Facebook page says it’s run by Dutch company e-Bron Marketing.

surveyworld.com has also picked up plenty of negative reviews on Trustpilot, with an average rating of 2.3/5 from over 160 reviews. Users commonly complain about never qualifying for surveys or, if they do eventually qualify, not getting paid.

The SurveyWorld homepage lists a payout range of €0.20 – €3.00 for completing surveys, with survey lengths starting at just two minutes. When we created an account, we were offered access to surveys with payouts ranging from CA$0.09 to CA$2.36, and survey lengths varied from 5 to 19 minutes.
