The CI Galaxy Bitcoin ETF (TSX:BTCX) has officially launched on Canada’s Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). This means you can now buy units in the ETF through a global stock broker or online share trading platform.

The CI Galaxy Bitcoin ETF (“BTCX”) began trading on March 9th, 2021 on the TSX. Launched by CI Global Asset Management in partnership with Galaxy Fund Management, the fund provides an additional way to invest in bitcoin.
According to the press release on CI’s website, the CI Galaxy Bitcoin ETF has the lowest management fee of any bitcoin ETF and the lowest published MER cap at 0.95%. It trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the tickers BTCX.B (Canadian dollar denominated) and BTCX.U (US dollar denominated).
