Zero or waivable monthly fees. Some CIBC plans come with zero monthly account fees, including the CIBC Smart Account Tier 2 and 3, CIBC Smart Start and CIBC Smart for Students. The monthly fee for most other chequing accounts can be waived with a minimum balance.
