Is the RBC iPad offer available?

Yes! RBC has brought back its popular iPad promotion. When you sign up for an eligible RBC account before July 31, 2023, and fulfill some basic conditions, you’ll receive a new, free 10.9-inch Apple iPad (10th Generation, Wi-Fi iPad, 64GB). You can choose to get your iPad in one of 4 different colours: silver, blue, yellow or pink.

How do I qualify for the RBC iPad offer?

In order to qualify for the RBC iPad offer, you’ll need to open one of these two eligible RBC accounts by July 31, 2023:

Once you open your new account, you’ll need to set up and complete at least 2 of the following by January 9, 2024 (which must stay in effect until after October 31, 2024) in order to receive your new, free iPad from RBC:

  • Direct deposit for your payroll or pension
  • 2 pre-authorized monthly payments (PAPs)
  • 2 service provider bill payments

Is it worth switching banks for a RBC new account offer?

That depends on your current finances and financial goals. Being one of Canada’s Big Five banks, RBC has a lot to offer in terms of features and financial products. Whether you’re looking for a chequing account, long-term savings accounts, credit cards, investment options, personal financing, a car loan or a mortgage, RBC can offer it all.
