Overview

The Promoter is Finder.com Comparison Service Canada Inc (BC1203971) (“Finder”) of Suite 2600, 1090 West Pender Street, Vancouver BC V6E 0E3. Finder offers customers the ability to compare financial and investing products through its website at https://www.finder.com/ca/ (“Finder Comparison Service”).

The $80 digital Visa card available under this Promotion is provided and distributed by Finder’s supplier, Tremendous LLC (“Tremendous”) (together, the “Fulfilment”). Tremendous’ terms and conditions and Finder’s privacy policy also apply to this promotion.

If you decide to sign up for a Qtrade Direct Investing account using Finder’s Comparison Service, please refer to Qtrade’s terms and conditions and privacy policy before making a decision. These Terms and Conditions are separate to and do not form part of Qtrade’s terms and conditions. For clarity, Finder is not responsible for and does not supply any services under the Qtrade Direct Investing account. You must contact Qtrade directly for more information.

Information on how to participate in the Promotion forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (each an “Entrant”).

1. Definitions

Promotion Period means the period beginning on Friday, October 16, 2026 and ending at 5:00 PM ET on Monday, November 30, 2026, unless otherwise extended, modified, suspended, or withdrawn by Finder in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Initial Participation Requirements means the Entrant’s application for and opening of a new eligible Qtrade Direct Investing account through the Finder Comparison Service during the Promotion Period and the Entrant’s completion of the Qualifying Deposit requirement during the Promotion Period.

Qualifying Deposit means a deposit of any amount made into the eligible Qtrade Direct Investing account during the Promotion Period. Funds must be settled and appear in the Qtrade Direct Investing account balance by the end of the Promotion Period.

Qualifying Event means opening a new eligible Qtrade Direct Investing account through the Finder Comparison Service during the Promotion Period, making the Qualifying Deposit, using the same first name, last name, and email address on the Finder account and the Qtrade Direct Investing account, and keeping the Qtrade Direct Investing account open, active and funded (maintaining a positive balance of cash and/or securities) until the Reward is fulfilled.

Reward means the $80 digital Visa card issued through Tremendous, provided solely by Finder and not by Qtrade. The Reward is paid only after Finder verifies that the Entrant has satisfied all eligibility requirements, including successful completion of the Qualifying Event.

Eligibility Date means the date on which Finder verifies whether all eligibility requirements have been met. For this Promotion, the Eligibility Date is on or before Wednesday, December 30, 2026.

Fulfilment Date means the date on which Finder issues the Reward following verification of eligibility. For this Promotion, the Fulfilment Date is on or before Friday, January 29, 2027.

New Customer means an Entrant who meets both of the following: (a) the Entrant is a new Qtrade client, as identified by a new Qtrade client ID, and is not an existing customer as defined in the Qtrade Terms and Conditions; and (b) the Entrant has held no active account, profile, or established service relationship with Qtrade or its affiliates within the 20 years immediately preceding the date of application. In the case of a joint account application, all named account holders must independently meet the definition of New Customer, and only one (1) Reward will be awarded per approved account, regardless of the number of joint owners.

New Funded Client means a New Customer (defined by a new Qtrade client ID) who opens a new Qtrade Direct Investing account, maintains a positive balance in such account (cash and/or securities) until the Reward is fulfilled, and meets all conditions and criteria of Qtrade.

Good Faith Participation means participating in the Promotion in a manner consistent with these Terms and Conditions and the intended operation of the Promotion. Conduct that may indicate a lack of Good Faith Participation includes, without limitation: closing or attempting to close the Qtrade Direct Investing account before the Fulfilment Date; opening and closing an account in rapid succession; using or attempting to use multiple Finder accounts, email addresses, devices, or identities to obtain more than one Reward under this or any related Promotion; submitting incomplete, inaccurate, altered, fabricated, or misleading information or documentation; using bot, automated, scripted, or coordinated activity, or VPNs, to complete or disguise a transaction; or otherwise attempting to game, exploit, circumvent, or defeat the eligibility requirements or intended operation of the Promotion.

2. Eligibility

This promotion is only open to Canadian residents aged 18 and over, and is open during the Promotion Period.

To qualify for the Reward, you must:

  • Be aged 18 years or over.
  • Be a registered Finder member, or create a Finder account prior to claiming the Reward.
  • Complete a comparison using the Finder Comparison Service.
  • Click on the unique promotion link to access Qtrade’s product page and complete the eligible transaction in the same session.
  • Open the Qtrade Direct Investing account during the Promotion Period.
  • Fund the Qtrade Direct Investing account with the Qualifying Deposit during the Promotion Period.
  • Maintain a funded Qtrade Direct Investing account until the reward is fulfilled.
  • Use the same first name, last name and email address on your Finder account and Qtrade Direct Investing account.
  • Be a New Customer, as defined above.
  • Be a New Funded Client, as defined above.

Participating products are limited to: Qtrade Stock Trading Account (does not apply to Qtrade Guided Portfolios).

Other eligibility conditions may apply, including but not limited to:

  • Being a New Customer, as defined above.
  • Residing in Canada.
  • Only one Reward may be claimed for each approved Eligible Product. For joint accounts, only one Reward may be claimed for each approved account.
  • For joint accounts, all account holders must meet the eligibility criteria at the time of opening the account.
  • Entrants must engage in Good Faith Participation, as defined above, throughout the Promotion Period and through the Fulfilment Date. Finder reserves the right, in its reasonable discretion, acting in good faith, to deny, withhold, delay, or reclaim a Reward, and to suspend or terminate an Entrant’s Finder Member account, where Finder reasonably believes an Entrant has not engaged in Good Faith Participation.
  • Eligibility determinations under this Promotion are based on data, confirmations, and reporting provided to Finder by Qtrade. Finder does not have visibility into, and is not responsible for verifying, Qtrade’s internal systems, account records, or transaction ledgers. If Qtrade advises Finder that an Entrant did not complete the Qualifying Event, that determination is treated as final for purposes of this Promotion, except to the extent required by applicable law. If Qtrade reports that an Entrant is an existing Qtrade client, the Entrant will not be considered a New Customer for purposes of this Promotion. The Entrant retains the right to raise a dispute with Finder in accordance with the Eligibility Dispute Window set out below, and Finder will consider any supporting documentation provided by the Entrant when reviewing the dispute.

3. Ineligibility

The Reward will not be issued if:

  • You do not use the unique promotion link while logged into your Finder account to apply for the Eligible Product on the Qtrade website.
  • You do not complete the Qualifying Event.
  • You are not a New Funded Client of Qtrade.
  • You complete the transaction outside the Promotion Period.
  • Your personal details (first name, last name, email) do not match between Finder and Qtrade.
  • You are not a New Customer, as defined above.
  • You redeem another similar Qtrade promotion or cashback offer.
  • You are an existing Qtrade employee or an immediate family member eligible for staff discounts.
  • You are not a Finder member at the time of claiming the Reward.

Additional ineligibility conditions will apply, including:

  • Cancelled, reversed, or returned deposits.
  • Use of VPNs or ad blockers during application.
  • Applications made through other cashback or rewards websites.
  • Fraudulent transactions.

4. Reward Amount

The Reward Amount that an eligible customer may claim will be based on the Eligible Product opened:

  • Eligible Product: Qtrade Stock Trading Account
  • Reward Amount: $80 digital Visa card

5. Limitations

Eligible participants may only receive this Reward once.

Finder reserves the right to cancel or modify these Terms and Conditions or terminate your eligibility at any time, with or without prior notice. Except where required by applicable law, or where Finder reasonably determines that an Entrant has engaged in fraud, abuse, or circumvention of these Terms and Conditions, any modification, suspension, or termination will apply prospectively only and will not reduce or eliminate the Reward for Entrants who completed the Initial Participation Requirements before the effective date of the change, provided those Entrants continue to satisfy the maintenance and Good Faith Participation requirements through the Fulfilment Date.

Eligibility Dispute Window: An Entrant who believes they have met the eligibility requirements but has not received confirmation of eligibility must submit a dispute, together with any supporting documentation Finder requests, within 60 calendar days of the Eligibility Date. Disputes submitted after this window may not be considered.

Activation Window: An Entrant confirmed as eligible must activate the Reward within 12 months of Reward issuance. Rewards not activated within this window may be forfeited.

6. Fulfilment and Tracking

Eligibility check date: On or before Wednesday, December 30, 2026

Reward issued date: On or before Friday, January 29, 2027 (upon verification of eligibility)

Additional fulfilment terms:

  • Finder will notify eligible members by email when their reward activation link is available in their member dashboard.
  • The Reward will be distributed via email by Tremendous.
  • The Reward must be activated by the date specified in your email and will remain valid for at least 6 months after activation.
  • Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash value.
  • Finder is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or undeliverable Visa cards. However, where a Reward is undeliverable due to an email delivery failure and the Entrant notifies Finder within 60 days of the applicable Fulfilment Date, Finder will make commercially reasonable efforts to reissue the Reward, provided the Entrant remains eligible and the Reward has not already been activated, redeemed, cancelled, expired, or otherwise made unavailable.
  • If your Reward has not been issued by the Reward issued date above, you must contact Finder within 60 days of the Eligibility check date to query or claim your Reward. Any enquiries raised after this period will be considered void, and Finder will not be liable to issue the Reward.

  • Enable third-party cookies and disable ad blockers.
  • Avoid using private browsing or switching devices/browsers mid-session.
  • Do not click through from another rewards or cashback site.

7. General Conditions

Finder reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel this promotion at any time without notice.

Finder may verify participant eligibility and disqualify individuals who breach these terms.

Any costs associated with participation are the sole responsibility of the participant.

To the extent permitted by law, Finder is not liable for any loss or damage arising from this promotion, including technical or fulfilment errors.

Between Finder and Qtrade, Finder is solely responsible for payment of the Reward. Qtrade is not liable for any loss or damage arising from this Promotion.

This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws, and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Finder has the right to investigate, deny, or reclaim a Reward, and to disqualify any Entrant and/or suspend or terminate their associated Finder Member account, in cases of suspected collusion, use of multiple identities, bot or automated activity, or any other attempt to game, exploit, or circumvent these Terms and Conditions or the intended operation of this Promotion. Following issuance, Finder may invalidate, reverse, or reclaim a Reward only in cases of fraud, identity misuse, material misrepresentation, duplicate reward claims, or other material violation of these Terms and Conditions, and only where permitted by applicable law and technically available through Tremendous or another applicable mechanism. Finder will provide the Entrant with written notice of the basis for any post-issuance recovery and a reasonable opportunity (not less than 14 days) to respond, except where Finder reasonably determines that providing such notice would frustrate an ongoing fraud investigation or would be inconsistent with law-enforcement guidance.

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable federal, provincial, or territorial taxes arising from receipt of the Reward.

Where Finder is unable to independently verify an Entrant’s completion of the Qualifying Event through Qtrade-provided data, Finder may request supporting documentation before making an eligibility determination, which may include a dated confirmation email from Qtrade and/or a screenshot from the Qtrade app or website showing the relevant account, date, and transaction details. Finder may deny a claim where the requested documentation is not provided within a reasonable time, is incomplete, is inconsistent with Finder’s records, or otherwise fails to evidence timely completion of the Qualifying Event.

Relationship to Finder’s Terms of Use: These Terms and Conditions supplement, and are to be read together with, Finder’s general Terms of Use available on the Finder website. In the event of a conflict specific to this Promotion, these Terms and Conditions control.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finder’s total aggregate liability to any Entrant arising out of or in connection with this Promotion is limited to the value of the Reward Amount. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver: Finder’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of Finder’s right to enforce it subsequently.

8. Privacy

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • Finder may collect and share your personal information with fulfilment partners, service providers, and Qtrade for the purposes of processing and verifying your eligibility.
  • Finder may use your data for research, marketing, or promotional purposes unless you opt out.
  • All entries and participant data become the property of Finder and will be managed in accordance with Finder’s Privacy Policy.
  • Personal information collected for this Promotion is retained for 7 years following the Fulfilment Date to comply with tax, accounting, dispute-handling and fraud-prevention obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

  • If you are a resident of Quebec, the following additional disclosures apply under Quebec’s Law 25:
    • (i) Your personal information may be transferred outside of Quebec, including to Finder personnel and service providers located elsewhere in Canada and in the United States (Finder’s fulfilment provider, Tremendous LLC, is located in the United States). Finder has conducted a privacy impact assessment for these transfers and applies contractual and technical safeguards designed to give your information a level of protection comparable to that required under Quebec law.
    • (ii) Eligibility for this Promotion is verified using automated systems that match Finder records against data provided by Qtrade. If a decision affecting your eligibility is made based exclusively on automated processing, you have the right under Law 25 s.12.1 to be informed of the principal factors used, to submit observations, and to request that a Finder employee review the decision. Contact the Privacy Officer above to exercise this right.
    • (iii) Finder uses cookies and similar tracking technology (as described in the “Fulfilment and Tracking” section) that may allow for profiling. You may disable these functions in your browser, but doing so will prevent your participation from being tracked and may prevent Reward fulfilment.
