Finder Raygun Dance Challenge – Think you can do better?

Dance to the Finder Beat. Get creative. Use Raygun’s moves or create your own and you could walk away with $5k AUD for the best solo dance or $10k AUD for the best group dance.

How to enter

1. Follow Finder on Instagram or TikTok. Make sure you’re following us so you don’t miss any challenge updates and can easily share your entry.
2. Use the Finder Beat song. Go to Instagram or TikTok and find the Finder Beat song under our profile or simply search for it in the sounds/music section. Download it here if you prefer (60-second version, Extended version) or check it out on Spotify to get inspired.

3. Create your dance video. Bring your best moves! Whether solo or with a group, make it fun, original, and full of energy. Feel free to put your own spin on the dance.
4. Upload and tag. Upload your video on TikTok or Instagram. Use the hashtag #RaygunChallenge. Make sure you tag Finder Australia on TikTok @FinderAU or Instagram @Finder.au.

How it works

Stage 1

The Finder panelists will choose 4 solo dance finalists and 4 group dance finalists based on their interpretation of:

• Creativity
• Fun
• Dance execution

Stage 2

Finalists in both categories will have their videos posted to Finder’s social channels [TikTok, Instagram] where the community will help pick the winners. The total number of likes across all social channels mentioned wins. So, get your friends, family and fans involved to boost your chances!

Prizes

• Best Solo Dance – $5,000 AUD
• Best Group Dance – $10,000 AUD

FAQs

• Can I enter more than once?

  Yes, you can submit multiple entries as long as they are different dances.

• What if I don't use the Finder Beat?

  C'mon, our one little ask is you use the Finder Beat 😀. If you want to dance to another beat, that's OK. But only Finder Beat entries will be considered as competition entries.

• How do I know if I'm a finalist?

  We'll announce the top 4 finalists across our social channels and right here on this page, so stay tuned!

• I don't live in Australia. Can I still enter?

  Absolutely, the world can participate and is eligible to win. The prizes stated above are in AUD.

• I am under 18, can I still participate?

  Absolutely but you need your parent / guardian's permission and to be able to prove it. This also applies to any groups. Any participants under the age of 18 are required to have parent / guardian's permission before submitting.

• Do I need professional dance skills to enter?

  No! This competition is open to everyone—whether you're a pro or just love dancing for fun. It's all about creativity and having a good time!

• What video formats can I submit?

  You can upload your video in any standard format accepted by TikTok or Instagram (such as MP4, MOV, or AVI). Just make sure it's clear and easy to watch.

• Can I edit my video or add effects?

  Yes, you can edit your video with effects, filters, or music overlays as long as the focus remains on your dance moves. Feel free to get creative!

• What happens if my group wins—how is the prize split?

  If your group wins the $10,000 AUD prize, it will be awarded to the group leader (the person who posts the video), who will be responsible for distributing it among group members.

• Can I still enter if I don't have a public account?

  Unfortunately, no. To be eligible, your account must be public so we can see your entry. You can switch your account to public temporarily while the competition is running.

• Can I use someone else's choreography?

  While you can take inspiration from other dances, we encourage you to put your own spin on it to showcase your creativity. Originality is key!

  We'd love to see what you can do with the beat… anything longer than 10 seconds counts.

• How do I know if my submission has been received?

  Once you've posted your video with the correct hashtag (#RaygunChallenge) and tagged Finder (IG @Finder.au and TikTok @FinderAU), you'll be officially entered. We recommend checking the hashtag feed to ensure your video appears.

• Will I be contacted if I'm a finalist?

  Yes, if you're selected as a finalist, you'll be contacted via direct message or comment on the platform where you submitted your video. Be sure to check your profile regularly!

• Is there a fee to enter the competition?

  No, entering the Raygun Dance Challenge is completely free.

• Do we have to travel anywhere to perform?

  No, this is an online-only dance competition.

• What if I don't want my video shared by Finder?

  By entering, you agree that Finder can share and repost your video across its platforms as part of the competition. If you have concerns, please refer to the full terms and conditions.
