Pros and cons of Zinio

  • Digitising print. You can find just about every popular magazine in digital format when you shop on Zinio. This includes magazines across different genres like sport, entertainment, travel, lifestyle, automotive and science and technology.
  • Multiple platform accessibility. You can read magazines you get from Zinio across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, Windows 8 and RIM.
  • Savings. Apart from the fact that Zinio gives you the ability to minimise the use of paper and read your favourite magazines on the move, it also offers significant savings on a large number of titles.

  • No membership rewards. If you are used to getting reward points when you shop, you’ll be disappointed to know that Zinio does not offer its members rewards for shopping frequently or spending more.

Subscription guide for Zinio

Subscription orders on this website come with ‘continuous service’. This ensures that you receive uninterrupted delivery of your chosen magazine without having to renew it periodically. At the end of the existing subscription period, Zinio bills your credit card for the next subscription period, and this happens in accordance to offer terms applicable at that point in time. You can cancel a subscription at any time.

Refunds with Zinio

You can, as mentioned, cancel a Zinio subscription at any time, and you receive a refund for unpublished issues. If you made your purchase using a credit card, Zinio credits the same card. It credits a refund for unpublished issues for subscriptions, and when it comes to single purchases Zinio offers refunds only if you cannot download the issue in question.

If you make your purchase via PayPal, Zinio credits the PayPal account, although this should happen within 60 days from the date of the original purchase. This is because PayPal’s policies deem all sales as final once they cross the 60 day mark. Purchases of all iPhone and iPad apps, as per the terms and conditions of Apple’s iTunes store, are final and do not qualify for refunds.
