Wiggle sizing guide: What size do I need?
Note that most sizes available on Wiggle.com come in UK sizes, so you’ll want to check the sizing chart for the item you’re interested in to make sure your measurements line up with the correct size if you’re used to ordering in US sizes. Typically, men’s clothing sizes are the same in both US and UK sizing charts.
Additionally, because Wiggle sells a number of different clothing brands, the exact sizing for each item will vary based on brand, so double-check the size chart listed on the page of the item.
To give you a ballpark idea of what UK size you might be, refer to this general sizing conversion table:
Women’s clothing size conversions
|US/CAN size||UK/AUS size||Bust (in)||Waist (in)||Hip (in)|
Is Wiggle plus-size friendly?
It could be friendlier. While some clothing items on Wiggle.com include larger sizing options, most only go up to a UK size 16, or US 12. Items that are available in sizes XS — XL usually stop at XL, although some do come in XXL.
Shipping, delivery and payments
Can I get free delivery?
Yes, most orders to the US qualify for free shipping if you spend over $49.
Because shipping is specific to your order and items, you’ll see your shipping costs on the checkout screen. Your order isn’t finalized until you complete your payment info and confirm your order.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you should receive an email with tracking information. Click the tracking number in your email, or enter it on Wiggle.com by logging into your account.
Pay for your order using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Electron, Switch/Maestro and PayPal.
Wiggle takes security seriously and is committed to keeping your payment information safe. All card data is encrypted using an Extended Validation digital certificate from Verisign to ensure that any data you enter cannot be intercepted by a third party. In fact, Wiggle uses the same data encryption system as is used by the US government.
At Wiggle your card data is always transmitted and stored securely. When you place an order on our website it is encrypted using an Extended Validation digital certificate from Verisign.
This is the most secure form of digital certificate it is possible to get, and ensures that all the data you enter when you purchase an item cannot be intercepted by any third party. When your order arrives at Wiggle we encrypt your card data using the same industry standard encryption system (AES) used by the US Government.
What’s Wiggle’s return policy?
Wiggle proudly offers a 30-day test ride on most bikes. If your bike isn’t everything you’d hoped for, return it within 30 days for a full refund.
For all other items, Wiggle gives you up to 365 days to return unused merchandise. There are just a few exceptions:
- All items must be in new, unused condition to be eligible for a return.
- Items marked with specific “sell by” dates are exempt from the 365-day return policy.
Can I exchange my item for a different color or size?
You may be able to exchange an item, depending your delivery location. To see if you can exchange your item, contact Wiggle customer service directly.
Check with Wiggle customer service before starting an exchange.
A few online reviewers reported issues with Wiggle’s exchange process. Even though their delivery address made them ineligible for an exchange, they were still able to initiate the exchange process online and send their items back. Unfortunately, they didn’t find out until much later that an exchange could not be processed for them.
Are Wiggle returns free?
No, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost, unless your item arrives damaged or faulty. If this is the case, Wiggle will ask that you send a picture or scan of your receipt for the return shipping costs and you will be reimbursed.
How do I return an item to Wiggle?
- Log into your Wiggle account and go to the Return an order page.
- Select the item(s) you want to return.
- Complete the appropriate form.
- On the next page, you’ll see instructions for processing your return, as well as a link to print out your return shipping label.

What sets Wiggle apart?
Wiggle lives and breathes triathlon sports. In fact, all of Wiggle’s own brands are tested and approved by the team before they ever make it into retail.
Wiggle is recognized by some big names in sports, having won a Personal Best Award and Best Retailer 2017 from Runner’s World and Online Retailer of the Year and Tri Retailer of the Year from 220 Triathlon.
What do people really say about this brand?
While customers are pumped about the huge selection of products that Wiggle offers, many aren’t so thrilled with the company’s customer service and returns department. It seems that lots of customers have had problems receiving their refund, even after properly sending in the return merchandise and waiting for sometimes over a month.
What is Wiggle’s history?
In 1995, a man by the name of Mitch Dall bought a small bike shop called Butler Cycles, located in Portsmouth, a city in Hampshire, England. Together with partner Harvey Jones, Dall gradually grew the business between 1999 and 2006, experimenting with online retail along the way.
In 2006, ISIS Equity Partners took a 42% stake in the company. Three years and 40% growth later, Dall sold his remaining stake in the company to ISIS Equity, who then brought in Humphrey Cobbold Andrew Bond to help its e-commerce endeavors really take off. After both Cobbold and Bond left the company, former Amazon UK CEO Brian McBride joined as Chairman in 2015. Today, the company has over 1,000 staff members, all of whom are avid cyclist themselves.
How can I contact customer support?
On its website, Wiggle only offers a live chat option or an option to fill out its contact form online. If you’re having trouble getting an answer, try sending the company a message through its Facebook page. Most FB messages are answered within an hour.
What about social media?
Wiggle is on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. You’ll find product features, cycling news and some pretty cool videos among these pages, including a pretty cute (and inspiring!) promotional video featuring Ruby the trail dog!
If how-to videos are more your thing, browse through Wiggle’s YouTube channel. Here, you’ll see all sorts of informative videos, on everything from conquering a climb to riding on rollers to popping a wheelie on a bicycle.
