What is Cleopatra in Space about?

While playing a game with a friend, young Cleo gets sucked into a portal that takes her 30,000 years into the future, to an Egyptian-themed planet ruled by talking cats.

When she finds out that she is the prophesied savior of the future world, Cleopatra enrolls in an elite academy where she has to train to take on the bad guys. At the same time, she’s trying to figure out a way to get back home and has to deal with the typical problems associated with high school.

The series is based on the graphic novel series of the same name by Mike Maihack and looks like a lot of fun, especially given the captivating premise. Who knew Cleopatra could be such a relatable character for tweens?

Cleopatra in Space is a Peacock original series. All of season 1 is available on the Peacock streaming service.
