Does the advantage revolving credit line report the same as fresh start. I have a fingerhut advantage credit card account. I dont have fresh start and every little thing i do with the exact amounts gets reported to my credit which is dropping my credit score, not increasing it. If it helps your credit then how is it hendering mine. All payments are and have been made on time. Never once a late payment.

      Hi Barbara,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

While we don’t have any information whether your payment to Fingerhut is received, since we are not affiliated with them, you’ll know that your payment is received by Fingerhut when you receive a payment confirmation number when you pay by phone or online. For mailed payments, please allow 7-10 days for Fingerhut to receive and process the payment.

Please keep your confirmation number for your records.

You will see your payments on your account within 1-2 business days. Please note that your available credit will update immediately.

Please sign in to your account and select ‘My Account’ at the top of the page. On the left side click the Statements link to view your current account information and past statements.

From there you can view your available credit, account number, due date, minimum due, current balance and last statement balance. You may also download past statements from there.

      I hope this helps.

      Kind regards,
      Jason

I recently opened an account in order to help build my available credit. How long will the account remain open without using it before WebBank closes the account?

      Hi Kristin,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

Generally, they can close your Account at any time. You can cancel or close your Account at any time by writing to us at WebBank, Fingerhut Credit Account Services, P.O. Box 1250, St Cloud, MN 56395-1250. If they have issued you a card with your Account number, you must cut it in half and return it to them. You may not use your Account for any purchases after you cancel or close your Account. If you do not pay them in full when you cancel, your outstanding balances will continue to accrue interest charges and other charges, and will be subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

I hope this information has helped.

      Cheers,
      Harold
