While the vast majority of sports events and competitions worldwide are on an extended hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, WWE has made the call to go ahead with Wrestlemania 36.
In a move that will delight wrestling fans and give casual fans or sports nuts at least something to watch, Wrestlemania 36 is being held over two nights on April 4 and April 5.
Hosted by former New England Patriots superstar Rob Gronkowski and featuring a host of wrestling’s biggest names, Wrestlemania 36 will be held without fans for the first time. Here’s how you can tune in.
Held over two nights on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, the main card gets underway at 7 p.m. ET on both days.
You have a few options for watching some live wrestling action. The WWE has its own streaming platform, the WWE Network, and there are also pay-per-view providers.
If you subscribe to the WWE Network, you will have access to literally thousands of hours of wrestling action live and on demand. This costs $9.99 per month. If you’re a new subscriber, the WWE Network is currently offering the first month free.
This means that if you only want to tune in to Wrestlemania 36, this is the perfect time to sign up. WWE Network is available through Roku, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Kindle Fire, Apple TV, iOS and Android.
Please note these matches are subject to change. It has been reported that Roman Reigns will miss the event for health precautions. WWE has since confirmed on Twitter that Reigns will be replaced by Braun Strowman, who now gets a shot at Goldberg for the WWE Universal Title.
