How to watch or stream Formula 1 live in the US

Every race of the 2021 Formula 1 World Championship is being broadcast live into the US, so you never have to miss a session.

The fastest drivers in the world are back on track for the 2021 Formula 1 world championship season. Lewis Hamilton is favored to claim yet another world title, after his record-equalling seventh crown in 2020. The 19 other drivers will do all they can to stop him. There are a record 23 races scheduled this year, up from the 17 that were held last year.

How to watch Formula 1 live in the US

In terms of your viewing options, the rights to broadcast Formula 1 live in the United States are held by ESPN and on free-to-air television through ABC, which only has limited access. You can also get live race-day coverage through Formula 1’s own streaming service, F1 TV Pro.

Watch F1 on ABC

You can get access to a very limited amount of Formula 1 content through free-to-air TV on ABC. In a normal season, the US, Mexico and Canadian grands prix are live on ABC. There is also delayed coverage of Monaco. There is zero practice or qualifying available.

With F1 TV Pro in the US, you get all the F1 action you could ask for, plus F2, F3 and Porsche Supercup replays. There is also a major race archive and plenty of live stats to enhance your viewing experience.
