The best performing companies in trading today were Huaneng Power (HNP, up 17.8%) and BioNTech Se ADR (BNTX, up 8.8%).
As a whole the markets were up today, with the Nasdaq Composite rising 1.55%, or 228 points, and the Dow industrials adding 215 points, or 0.61%.

Huaneng Power Intl (HNP) was the top gainer today. Shares in the company rose 17.8% to $19.46.
The second-best mover was BioNTech Se ADR (BNTX), the NASDAQ company, which rose 8.8% to reach $379.31. The company had worked with Pfizer on a COVID-19 vaccine that won full U.S. approval today.
