Our verdict: Is first direct perks any good?<\/h3>

If you\u2019re an existing first direct customer, it\u2019s worth signing up for the bank\u2019s new perks reward programme, given you won\u2019t have to pay anything for doing so. <\/p>

Once signed up in the app, you\u2019ll be able to view a range of discounts and offers for eating out, cinema trips, shopping, utility bills, holidays and so on. Whether you want to take advantage of these is up to you. <\/p>

But while you have nothing to lose by signing up if you already hold an account with first direct, it\u2019s unlikely to be worth switching to the bank for this benefit alone.<\/p>
