      Does Barclays offer a joint account?<\/h3>

      Yes, Barclays offers joint bank accounts. Unlike many other banks, Barclays doesn’t limit joint accounts to 2 people. Although it doesn’t set a specific restriction on the number of parties that can hold a joint account, Barclays recommends no more than 4 people share an account. <\/p>

      All joint account holders will receive a debit card for everyday spending and you’ll be able to set up direct debits and standing orders on the account to pay bills and other expenses. <\/p>

      As Barclays has a UK banking licence, your funds are protected up to \u00a3120,000 per person under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). <\/p>

      Barclays doesn’t have a big variety when it comes to which accounts can be joint accounts. There are the 2 accounts that can be shared:<\/p>

        You can open a joint account with Barclays online, as long as you have the relevant details to hand for all account holders. This includes your addresses for the past three years, income and employment details. <\/p>
