      As Nationwide is a licensed UK bank, money held in a joint account is protected up to \u00a3120,000 per person through the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). <\/p>

        Alternatively, FlexPlus offers more in the way of features such as interest on your balance, cashback and travel and mobile phone insurance, but comes with a monthly fee. You only pay the fee between you and can still both benefit from the perks on offer.<\/p>

        How do I get a joint account with Nationwide?<\/h3>

        If you’re applying for a new account that you want to hold jointly, you can request this during the application process. You can usually do this online, or by phone or in branch.<\/p>
