Now it has turned its attention to debit cards, and has launched 2 different reward debit cards.<\/p><h3>What is a Yonder debit card?<\/h3><p>Yonder\u2019s debit cards work like its credit cards, in that you can earn points through your spending which can then be redeemed with shopping, dining and travel brands. There is a free version and a full membership version, the latter of which allows you to earn more points and redeem them for premium rewards in exchange for a monthly fee. <\/p><p>The difference between Yonder and other reward cards is that the experiences are curated for you, and most are based around Yonder\u2019s membership cities of London, Manchester, Bristol, and Bath. This means that if you don\u2019t live in one of those cities you may be better off with another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finder.com\/uk\/current-accounts\/current-accounts-with-cashback\">debit card that offers rewards<\/a> such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finder.com\/uk\/current-accounts\/chase-digital-bank-review\">Chase<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finder.com\/uk\/current-accounts\/monzo-review\">Monzo<\/a> that have more UK generic offers.<\/p><h3>How does it work?<\/h3><p>Yonder has 2 versions of its reward debit cards; a free version and a full membership version with a monthly fee. <\/p><p>The free version allows you to earn 1 point for every \u00a31 spent and enjoy fee-free spending abroad. <\/p><p>Meanwhile, with the Full Debit Card, you get the following for a \u00a315 monthly fee: <\/p><ul><li>4 points for every \u00a31 spent<\/li><li>Fee-free spending abroad<\/li><li>Use points on flights with multiple airlines<\/li><li>Worldwide family travel insurance<\/li><\/ul><p>You can earn points on every purchase and then use those points on experiences that are curated based on your location and spending habits. Rather than use codes or coupons, you\u2019ll just need to use your Yonder card to pay in order to redeem the reward. <\/p><p>It\u2019s important to note that Yonder\u2019s dining, fitness and ticketed experiences are based only in London, Manchester, Bristol and Bath, with more cities coming soon. However, its travel experiences, such as staycations and car rentals, are available nationwide.<\/p><h3>What is Yonder\u2019s app like?<\/h3><p>Yonder\u2019s app has a lot of budgeting features that you would expect from a digital-first provider, including:<\/p><ul><li>In-app customer support<\/li><li>Spending category breakdowns<\/li><li>Flexible recurring payments<\/li><li>Bill splitting<\/li><li>Freeze and replace your card<\/li><li>Real-time notifications<\/li><li>Swipe in-app to redeem points with partner brands<\/li><li>Send your points to friends on Yonder<\/li><\/ul><h3>Is Yonder safe?<\/h3><p>Yonder isn\u2019t a bank, but it is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. It\u2019s important to note that it\u2019s just a debit card though, not a current account. So you can add money to your card from your chosen bank account, but you won\u2019t be able to pay your salary directly to Yonder or set up direct debits or standing orders. <\/p><p>While the idea of earning rewards on your spending is appealing, a lot of Yonder\u2019s benefits are exclusive to the cities it currently has on its roster. It plans to expand further, but at present, this makes its reward experiences rather limited.
