This means that if approved, you\u2019ll be borrowing credit from Capital One, not ASOS itself. <\/p><h4>Key features of the ASOS credit card<\/h4><ul><li><strong>App based.<\/strong> You can set your payments, track your spending, set up a PIN and lock your card using the Capital One app.<\/li><li><strong>0% purchases.<\/strong> You can spread the cost of your purchases during the first 3 months of card ownership, 34.94% thereafter.<\/li><li><strong>No annual fee.<\/strong> No additional account fees to pay on top of your repayments.<\/li><\/ul><h3>The ASOS credit card: is it any good?<\/h3><p>The interest rate and interest-free period for this card aren\u2019t market leading, and there aren\u2019t any rewards for spending (at least for now). So where does it slay?<\/p><p>With 0% on purchases for the first 3 months of card ownership, the ASOS credit card offers some flexibility on your purchases. This means the cost of that new jacket you\u2019ve been eyeing up could be spread across 3 months.  Plus, you can use it anywhere that takes Mastercard \u2013  not just at ASOS<\/p><p>But it\u2019s worth knowing that there are other cards that have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finder.com\/uk\/credit-cards\/0-purchase-credit-cards\">longer 0% period<\/a> if you\u2019re looking for a card to spread the cost of a shopping haul over a period of time. And the rates aren\u2019t very competitive \u2013 if you\u2019re going to carry a balance over to the next month, you could end up paying a lot of interest. Not the vibe.<\/p><p>As with any credit card,  if you can\u2019t keep up with repayments, it\u2019ll damage your credit score. On the flip side, if you repay on time, you could build your credit score with the Asos credit card. <\/p><p>Finally, store-branded cards usually offer rewards for using the credit card \u2013 especially when you buy with the brand \u2013 such as cashback or points. But the ASOS credit card offers no rewards for using it.
