The winners and highly commended companies were decided by a panel of 4 expert judges:<\/p><ul><li>Cherry Reynard, investment journalist<\/li><li>Makala Green, Schroders personal wealth adviser (Chartered)<\/li><li>Niels Pedersen, senior fintech lecturer, Manchester Metropolitan University<\/li><li>George Sweeney, investing deputy editor, Finder<\/li><\/ul><p>Finder has also revealed the winners of its inaugural People&#8217;s Choice Awards for savings and investing.<\/p><p>This year, for the first time, Finder asked the public which brands were making it easier for them to invest or save. Thousands and thousands of votes were placed in August, and now the winners can be revealed.<\/p><p><b>And the winners are\u2026<\/b><\/p><p>The top spot in the Share Dealing Innovation category goes to eToro, with Freetrade recognised as highly commended.<\/p><p>CMC Invest scooped the first place award in the Stocks &amp; Shares ISA Innovation category.<\/p><p>PensionBee is the winner of the Pensions Innovation award for the second year running.<\/p><p>Zopa took first place in the Saving Innovation award, with Plum getting highly commended in this category.<\/p><p>CMC Invest was the winner of the ESG Investing Innovation award, with eToro taking the highly commended spot.<\/p><p>Webull was awarded first place in the Investing Innovation Newcomer category.<\/p><p>Taking first place for the People&#8217;s Choice: Savings Provider category is Chip, with Plum taking second place as the runner-up.<\/p><p>InvestEngine was voted as the People&#8217;s Choice: Investing Provider winner, with Lightyear placing as the runner-up in this category.<\/p><p>Commenting on the awards, George Sweeney, investing deputy editor at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finder.com\/uk\/author\/georgesweeney\">finder.com<\/a>, said:<\/p><p><i>&#8220;It&#8217;s been a tough year and a harsh economic environment for most organisations in the saving and investing space. Yet, this hasn&#8217;t held back some platforms or stopped them from continuing to innovate and shake things up.<\/i><\/p><p><i>&#8220;Although everyone has faced challenges, some investment and savings platforms have set themselves apart by going above and beyond to improve what they offer in an impactful way.
