The 11 winners and highly commended companies in the Finder Investing & Saving Innovation Awards 2022<\/a> have been revealed today.
The personal finance comparison site finder.com<\/a> assessed innovation across 7 categories including saving, stocks and shares ISAs, pensions, share dealing, CFD and forex, as well as ESG investing.<\/p>

The awards recognise financial providers that are innovating in their field, by bringing new and impactful features to the market and delivering unique and beneficial services to their customers. The awards were decided by a panel of 4 expert judges:<\/p>

  • Cherry Reynard<\/b>, Investment Journalist<\/li>
  • Makala Green<\/b>, Chartered Financial Expert<\/li>
  • Niels Pedersen<\/b>, Senior Fintech Lecturer, Manchester Metropolitan University<\/li>
  • Zoe Stabler<\/b>, Senior Investment Writer, Finder<\/li>
    And the winners are\u2026<\/b> <\/p>

    The top spot in the Share Dealing Innovation category goes to Freetrade, with Wombat recognised as highly commended.<\/p>

    Bestinvest scooped the first place award in the Stocks & Shares ISA Innovation category.<\/p>

    PensionBee is the winner of the Pensions Innovation award, followed by Penfold in the highly commended spot.<\/p>

    Plum took first place in the Saving Innovation award, with interactive investor getting highly commended in the category.<\/p>

    GreenGrowth was the winner of the ESG Investing Innovation award.<\/p>

    The CFD & Forex Trading Innovation category recognised IG in the highly commended spot, with Saxo Markets taking first place. <\/p>

    Dodl was awarded first place in the Investing Innovation Newcomer category.<\/p>

    Commenting on the awards, Zoe Stabler, Senior Investment Writer at finder.com<\/b> said:<\/p>

    This year we’ve seen an extraordinary amount of innovation in the saving and investing sectors, with a significant amount of crossover between them \u2014 more so than any other year. For our innovation awards, competition was tough \u2014 some companies were nominated for two or three categories, highlighting the impressive work they’ve put into improving their offering and making the job of choosing the winning and highly commended companies quite a challenge for the judges.<\/em><\/p>

    I’m particularly impressed with how investment apps are adapting their services to help investors make more informed decisions on their investments \u2014 we’ve got better learning tools, demo accounts, coaching and research tools.     Methodology<\/b>:
    The shortlist of finalists in each category was selected by Finder’s subject area specialists, who identified the providers they felt were displaying key innovations in their field.
    This shortlist was then passed to an expert judging panel, who decided the winning and highly commended companies by assessing the finalists across three different criteria: uniqueness of innovation, impact in the market and value to customers.<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
