In return, you\u2019ll need to pay a small monthly fee. <\/p><p>The account can be managed online, via the mobile banking app, over the phone or in branch and it can be opened as a sole or joint account.<\/p><h3>How does it work?<\/h3><p>The NatWest Reward current account offers the following key features: <\/p><ul><strong>Earn up to \u00a35 a month in Rewards.<\/strong> Earn \u00a34 a month in Rewards for 2 or more direct debits on the account (of at least \u00a32). Plus earn an extra \u00a31 a month with 1 mobile app log-in. <li><strong>Earn Rewards on spending.<\/strong> Earn from 1% when you spend with retail partners such as Caff\u00e8 Nero, Europcar, Barrhead Travel, Boux Avenue and ATG tickets.<\/li><li><strong>Rewards exchange.<\/strong> Once you reach \u00a35 in Rewards, you can redeem it as cashback, trade it up for gift cards or ecodes with NatWest\u2019s retail partners or donate it to charity.<\/li><li><strong>Arranged overdraft.<\/strong> An arranged overdraft is available on the account. Interest applies at a rate of 39.49% EAR (variable).<\/li><li><strong>Round Ups feature.<\/strong> When you pay with your debit card or contactless device, the amount will be rounded up to the nearest pound and the difference transferred to your NatWest savings account. (You\u2019ll need the app to make this work.)<\/li><\/ul><h3>Who is it for?<\/h3><p>To qualify for the NatWest Reward account you must be aged 18 or over and a UK resident. looking for a low-cost rewards account, the NatWest Reward current account could be the answer at only \u00a32 a month, or \u00a324 a year. This is cheaper than a lot of its competitors, although the benefits of the account aren\u2019t overwhelming.<\/p><p>The main benefit is NatWest Rewards. If you meet the required criteria, you could earn up to \u00a35 a month in these Rewards, giving you a \u2018profit\u2019 of \u00a33 a month once you\u2019ve factored in the fee. <\/p><p>It shouldn\u2019t be too difficult to earn the maximum amount in Rewards either \u2013 you\u2019ll need at least 2 direct debits on the account and to log into your mobile app once a month.
