Funds deposited into the account will be administered in accordance with Sharia principles. The account comes with a debit card and a cheque book. If you keep a balance of less than \u00a32,500 in your account, you will pay a \u00a35 monthly maintenance fee.<\/p><h4>Premier current account<\/h4><p>This is an account suitable for those who have home finance of \u00a3500,000 or more with AlRayan Bank and who have a high net worth.<br>With the premier account, you\u2019ll benefit from a \u201cdedicated relationship manager\u201d who will be fluent in Arabic and experienced in Islamic banking. The account has a monthly fee of \u00a320, but this will be waived if you hold at least \u00a350,000 on deposit with AlRayan Bank or you are a Home Purchase Plan Premier customer.<\/p><h3>Benefits of opening an account with AlRayan<\/h3><p>There are several benefits to opening a current account with AlRayan:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Sharia compliant.<\/strong> If you want to bank according to Sharia law or you would prefer not to lend your money to businesses that provide goods or services such as tobacco, gambling and alcohol, AlRayan\u2019s accounts could be right for you.<\/li><li><strong>International payments.<\/strong> For a fee, you can send money to accounts outside the UK. Receiving money from outside the UK is free.<\/li><li><strong>Fee-free foreign card transactions.<\/strong> You can spend on your debit card abroad without paying a foreign transaction fee. For cash withdrawals, you\u2019ll pay a \u00a31.50 withdrawal fee. Note that your card cannot be used in certain countries.
