\nIf you're a Halifax customer, you'll be contacted in the coming days or weeks and invited to move across to the Lloyds app and online banking. Once there, you'll gain access to Lloyds products for renewals, upgrades or downgrades without having to change sort code or account number. \n
\nIt's really important to note that you won't be asked to move money, transfer funds or share security details by Lloyds. So if you do get a message asking you to do any of those things, it's a scam!\n
\nYour account number, sort code, and FSCS protection will all stay exactly the same. Any money you have in a Halifax account will remain completely separate from your new Lloyds accounts.\n

What is the Halifax Ultimate Reward current account?<\/h3>
The Halifax Ultimate Reward current account is a step up from both the Halifax current account and the Halifax Reward current account. It is a packaged account which means that as well as offering everything you\u2019d expect from a standard current account, it also offers a variety of perks and benefits.<\/p>
The Halifax Ultimate Reward account can be opened individually or jointly and comes with a contactless Visa debit card.<\/p>
How does it work?<\/h3>
As well as enabling you to set up direct debits and standing orders and apply for an arranged overdraft, the Halifax Ultimate Reward current account offers the following perks:<\/p>
- Worldwide multi-trip travel insurance.<\/strong> For you and your family, including certain winter sports, golf trips and UK breaks. Cover ends when the account holder turns 71.<\/li>
- AA breakdown cover.<\/strong> Including roadside assistance and home start in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Cover available for you and eligible family members as the driver or passenger in any eligible vehicle.<\/li>
- Mobile phone insurance.<\/strong> Covers breakdown, accidental damage, loss and theft up to \u00a32,000. Covers one phone per account holder.<\/li>
- Home emergency cover.<\/strong> Up to \u00a3250 per claim including VAT.<\/li><\/ul>

The Halifax Ultimate Reward current account is suitable for those happy to pay a monthly fee of \u00a319 and who will make full use of the perks on offer.<\/p>
To be eligible you must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident. To qualify for Reward Extras you must either spend \u00a3500 on your debit card each month or keep \u00a35,000 or above in your account each day of the month. You will also need to pay at least \u00a31,500 into your account each month and stay in credit.<\/p>
