The 11 winning and highly commended companies for the <\/span>Finder Investing & Saving Innovation Awards 2020<\/span><\/a> have been announced today.<\/span><\/p>

The awards recognise financial providers that are innovating in their chosen field, by bringing new and impactful features to the market and delivering unique and beneficial services to their customers.<\/span><\/p>

The personal finance comparison site, <\/span>finder.com<\/span><\/a>, assessed innovation across 5 different areas of the investing and saving space: Saving, Stocks & Shares ISAs, Pensions, Share Dealing and CFD & Forex Trading.<\/span><\/p>

The biggest winner was Trading 212. The investing platform won in the Share Dealing Innovation category and was highly commended in the CFD & Forex Trading Innovation division.<\/span><\/p>

Both Revolut and Freetrade were the highly commended companies in the Share Dealing Innovation category.<\/span><\/p>

The top spot in CFD & Forex Trading Innovation went to eToro in recognition of its developments within the area. In the Saving Innovation category, Monzo took the crown, while Dozens was highly commended.<\/span><\/p>

Moneybox won the Stocks & Shares ISA Innovation division, followed by Wombat, while PensionBee came out on top in the Pensions Innovation category, ahead of Penfold.<\/span><\/p>

Commenting on the findings, Jon Ostler, CEO at <\/span>finder.com<\/span><\/a>, said: <\/span>“The investing and saving space has seen a great deal of innovation recently. In many categories this has reduced the barriers to entry and enabled a new generation of consumers to get involved. We were keen to give recognition to the providers that have been at the forefront of this movement and I’d like to congratulate all of the finalists!”.<\/span><\/i><\/p>

Methodology:<\/b><\/p>

The shortlist of finalists in each category was selected by Finder’s subject area specialists, who identified the providers they felt were displaying key innovations in their field.<\/span><\/p>

This shortlist was then passed to an expert judging panel (details below), who decided the winning and highly commended companies by assessing the finalists across three different criteria: uniqueness of innovation, impact in the market and value to customers.<\/span><\/p>
