Overall winner: Is interactive investor better than Hargreaves Lansdown?<\/h3>

These platforms are, on the face of it, very similar. As you can see above, it works out cheaper to go with Hargreaves Lansdown, but if you plan to open several different trading accounts (such as a JISA, an ISA and a general investment account), then you may end up spending less with interactive investor.<\/p>

These are both quite good platforms for beginners. interactive investor has some educational tools that can help you learn more about investing and get to grips with it.<\/p>

Overall, the service is pretty similar, but in most cases, ii comes in at a cheaper price point while still offering a huge range of investments and a premium customer service experience.<\/p>
