Brits will spend over \u00a3300 million more on Easter this year than they did last year, at \u00a3575 million.*<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those planning to celebrate will spend an average of \u00a324.41 each on chocolates, gifts and entertainment.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not surprisingly, the younger generation is the most cost-conscious this Easter with millennials planning to spend the least at \u00a320.41 on average compared to Gen X spending \u00a327.25 and baby boomers spending \u00a324.68.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Men will be the biggest spenders this Easter, but only slightly, shelling out \u00a325.42 on average compared to women spending \u00a323.53.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jon Ostler, CEO (UK) at finder.com said, &#8220;Easter is a special time of year for many people around the UK. However, with so many temptations the cost of Easter eggs, gifts for family and friends, and other treats can quickly add up.
