Supermarket giant Tesco launched Tesco Bank as a joint venture with Royal Bank of Scotland back in 1997. It became 100% owned by Tesco in 2008, before Barclays acquired the bank’s retail banking business (credit cards, loans and savings) in November 2024 – although the Tesco Bank brand continues to be used. <\/p>

Tesco offers the following travel money services:<\/p>

  1. Travel Money card.<\/b> Tesco offers a multi-currency Cash Passport Travel Money prepaid card that can hold up to 22 currencies. You can use this card to spend abroad for free, provided you use the correct currency.<\/li>
  2. Currency exchange.<\/b> You can order travel money online or instore. You can collect your cash from a Tesco Travel Money bureau or have it delivered to your home. Clubcard prices are available if you show your card.<\/li><\/ol>
