Round 1: Performance

Shark WV200UKShark WandVac 2.0 WV270UK
Hard surface cleaning★★★★★★★★★★
Carpet cleaning★★★★★★★★★★
Pet hair cleaning★★★★★★★★★★
Crevice cleaning★★★★★★★★★★
Finder rating★★★★★★★★★★

Both perform similarly on all surfaces; however, because of its boost function, the WV270UK excels at cleaning up pet hair on carpet and upholstery compared to the WV200UK. It’s also fab at reaching into crevices. Where the WV270UK suffers is on hard floor and carpets, not because of its suction but its capacity. It’ll clog up much faster than the WV200UK despite having the same stated capacity. This is because of its large dust cup taking up room in the dust chamber. The WV200UK can pick up a bit more debris before it runs out of steam on both surfaces.

Round 2: Convenience

Capacity (litres)0.10.1
Dirt release button
Charging dock
Convenience★★★★★★★★★★

Both of these vacs are similar convenience wise. They empty easily and have charging docks. But because of the dust cup hindering the WV270UK’s full capacity potential, and that it’s slightly tougher to clean mess from it, the WV200UK pips it here.

Round 3: Charge time and run time

Shark WV200UKShark WandVac 2.0 WV270UK
Charge time (hours)2.53.5
Run time (minutes)815

It may take longer to charge, but it runs for almost double the time (on standard mode). So the easy winner here is the WV270UK.

Overall winner: tie

This is basically a tie. If you have pets, the WV270UK is a better option plus it can run for longer. If you’re looking for an easy to use, cheaper handheld then the WV200UK does the job and will take a bit more rubbish before it clogs up.
