What services do Tesco mobile offer?

Tesco mobile runs off the O2 network, offering 2G, 3G and 4G coverage across the UK. You can use Tesco mobile’s network calculator, to check which networks are available in your local area. Simply enter in your postcode or location on their website and you can find out which networks cover you.

Tesco mobile offers 24 month pay monthly mobile plans, which allows you to choose the phone and inclusive package you like and then pay for it in monthly instalments. Tesco mobile also offer SIM only plans which last for either 30 days or 12 months as well as a standard pay as you go plan or a pay as you go ‘rocket pack’.

How much does it cost?

Tesco mobile offers 24 month pay monthly plans, SIM only plans, and pay as you go plans. These range in terms of contract length, price and package inclusion.

You will need to initially top up your Tesco mobile pay as you go plan in store using a Tesco-mobile voucher. After your initial top up you are able to top up online, via the app, by phone or store. The minimum amount you are able to top up is £10.

Additional charges will apply to calls, texts and data usage outside of your plan.

How much data do I need?

The amount of data you require depends on how much internet you will be using on your mobile each month.

It is difficult to determine an exact correlation between data and internet usage but approximately 1GB would allow you to view either around 3000 web pages, 10 000 emails or spend 4 hours streaming videos.

What extras do Tesco mobile plans offer?

Tesco mobile allows you to buy one off data bundles. The cost of these depends on how much you wish to add on to your plan.

If you have two or more pay monthly numbers under one account Tesco mobile offers a Family perk. Both SIMs can choose from 150 free minutes to all networks, 500 Tesco mobile to Tesco mobile minutes or 250 MB data.

Tesco mobile also offers a £3.00 waiver on your bill and an extra 200MB every month with the Tesco Xtra app. With this Tesco mobile require you to view the ads on this app for at least 21 days in a month in order to be eligible for the deal.
