Is Nuls a good investment?

Investing in cryptocurrencies can often be a risky yet lucrative investment proposition, hence it’s important to conduct thorough research before investing in a digital asset. Here are the aspects you should keep in mind before investing in NULS:
  • Governance: There is no minimum number of NULS tokens you would need to hold to have a vote in the governance of the network. Every token counts for a vote, thus, the higher number of tokens you own, the more of a say you have in the network’s proceedings. As a holder, you would also be able to create a proposal for the community to vote on.
  • Utility: In addition to serving governance functions and being a store of value, the native token serves various different functions. Similar to other networks, it can also be used to stake on the blockchain. What’s unique is that these tokens can also be used to create tokens and set up nodes on the network.
  • Supply: An initial quantity of 100 million tokens was issued and the current total supply is at 115 million tokens. An additional 5 million tokens are created every year to reward miners and contribute to the security of the network, making it an inflationary token.
  • Issuance: The initial issuance of the token was split into 4 parts: 40% of the tokens were airdropped to owners of the ERC20 placeholder token of Inchain project (an angel investor of NULS), 20% of the tokens are reserved for continued development, 20% of the tokens are allocated for community building and the remaining 20% is allocated for business partnerships and third-party projects. Barring the airdrop, there is a supply influx cap on each of the other categories limiting the flooding of these tokens in the ecosystem.
  • Consensus mechanism: The blockchain uses a Proof of Credit (PoC) consensus mechanism which is a combination of the designated Proof of Stake (dPoS) and a credit rating system, making it the first of its kind designed by the team running the project. This mechanism allows you to mine via staking.
