What is my excess?
An excess is the amount of money you have to contribute when you make a claim. The amount of your excess will vary depending on the original price of the gadget that’s covered.
If more than one excess applies, these will be added together.
Every gadgetbuddy.com claim made will have an excess applied and must be paid before a claim is approved. The amount will vary depending on your own circumstances and the device(s) you have insured.
Full details of your policy excess will be in your policy document.
What is the claims process for gadgetbuddy.com?
If you need to claim, you will need to contact gadgetbuddy.com’s claims handlers Trent-Services on 01285 626020. A claim form will then be either emailed to you or posted out to you to complete and return. You will need to record all details associated with the claim and also provide the original receipt, order or contract for each device as evidence.
It’s vital that you let your insurer know about an incident as soon as you become aware of any issue or damage to your device(s). Failure to do this could result in a rejected claim later on.
