In order to be covered by Debenhams Gadget Insurance, your item must be in working condition and no more than 36 months old. It must have been purchased in the UK. You’ll need to provide proof of purchase to successfully make a claim.
You’ll make a claim via the claims portal on the Debenhams Gadget Insurance website. Here, you’ll fill out an outline form, explaining various details about the item and the incident that led to the claim.
In the case of a theft or a loss, you’ll need to inform the police and your network provider (if applicable).
In the case of damage, you’ll need to send the gadget to Debenhams for repairs. If the item is deemed irreparable, you’ll be sent a replacement within 24 hours. All replacements come with a 12-month warranty.
You’ll need to pay your excess before the repairs or replacement process begins.
There are no limits on the number of claims you can make.
