England.pl charges £3 for transfers under £100, but all transfers over £100 are free.
It also adds a margin to the mid-market exchange rate, but at the time of writing (14 February 2020), this was quite small compared with some other UK-to-Poland transfer services.
England.pl is exclusively for sending money from the UK to Poland, so only offers GBP to PLN transfers.
What types of transfers can you make with England.pl?
England.pl lets you send money to all zloty bank accounts in Poland. Once you go through its online verification process, you can transfer up to £10,000 a day.
How long does a transfer with England.pl take?
England.pl claims that transactions are usually carried out within an hour of payment. Payments made before 2pm will be sent to the recipient’s zloty account on the same day. Those made after 2pm will be in the recipient’s account by the next working day at the latest.

How does England.pl make money?
England.pl makes money by charging transfer fees. It also adds a small margin to the interbank exchange rate, which is why the exchange rate you might see on Google is slightly different to the one England.pl is quoting.
How to register an account and make your first money transfer
Click on “Register” in the top right-hand corner.
Choose your account type (e.g. whether you’re an individual or a business, and whether you’re sending money from the UK or Poland). Then add your email address, create a password and enter the verification password.
You’ll then be sent an email asking you to verify your account. Click on the link and it will then email you a code, which you need to enter in the box on the website.
You’ll be taken to your Client Panel where you then need to fill in more details.
This includes your name, address, date and place of birth and phone number. The GG number is an optional extra two-step authentication.
Choose the country you’re transferring to (Poland or England), their name, surname, address and bank details. The GG number is an optional extra two-step authentication.
After you’ve clicked on “Save receivers and define payments”, you can submit a transfer order, including how much you’d like to send and how you’d like the recipient to get the money. If you’re transferring more than £1,000, you’ll need to provide proof of identity, such as your passport or driving licence.
Deposit the money into England.pl’s bank account or pay by card. You and the recipient will get automatic confirmation that the transfer has taken place.
What is England.pl?
England.pl has been running money transfers between the UK and Poland since 2005, transferring £75 million a year for more than 70,000 registered customers.
It says its aim is to make life easier for all Polish people living in the UK by offering simple, cheap and fast transfers between the two countries.
