Features of an Emma mattress

What is it made of?

The Emma mattress is made of 3 layers of foam, including a 3cm breathable Airgocell foam to absorb moisture and keep you cool, 2cm Visco-elastic memory foam to mould to the shape of your body and distribute pressure evenly, and a durable 19cm HRX base layer to align your spine. The washable cover is temperature-regulating at the top and non-slip at the bottom.

Do you need a special base for it?

No. You can place your Emma mattress on any solid, sturdy surface, whether it’s on a slat frame, a divan, or even the ground.

How many years does an Emma mattress last?

The Emma mattress comes with a 10 year warranty. Our research shows that the average life of a foam mattress is around eight years.

Can I rotate or flip the Emma mattress?

The mattress has been designed with varying foam layers in a specific order, so don’t flip it. But you can rotate it from head-to-toe every few months or when you wash your bedding.

Is Emma better than Nectar?

These brands are both popular online retailers offering foam mattresses. Price wise they are relatively similar.

Some reviewers say that the Emma mattress is more comfortable than the Nectar if you move around a lot in your sleep, because of its motion transfer. If you’re still not sure, compare a few online mattress brands to help you decide.
