EE has a huge selection of PAYG offerings. The deals come in all shapes and sizes, suited to any need and any budget.

The best thing about these deals is that if you stay with EE, you’ll be entitled to free add-ons or ‘Boosts‘. Simply put, the longer you stay the more you get.

If you buy three 30-day packs or 12 7-day packs, you can choose from one the Free Boosts that we’ve listed in the table below.

What Free Boost can I get with each EE PAYG pack?

Type of PackFree Boost
7-day packsExtra 50MB, 10 minutes, or 25 texts
30-day £5 packsExtra 100MB, 25 minutes, or 50 texts
30-day packs (£8 and above)Extra 500MB, 50 minutes, or 250 texts
30-day packs (with unlimited texts)Extra 500MB or 50 minutes

When does my Free Boost get applied?

After you’ve chosen your Free Boost it will be applied to the next pack you buy and every pack after that.

Here’s an example:

  1. You buy three 30-day packs.
  2. You choose a Free Boost.
  3. You buy your fourth pack.
  4. Your Free Boost starts.

Can I keep adding Free Boosts?

Yep. The great thing is that you can keep adding them again and again and again!

What might start out as a 500MB data allowance can become a 1GB package after 3 months, a 1.5GB package after 6 months, and so on.

How to keep track of your EE Boosts

You can keep track by:

  • Logging into My EE online
  • Checking the My EE app
  • Texting BOOST to 150 (You’ll also get a text message letting you know when you can choose your next Free Boost.)

A few other things to remember about EE Boosts

Gaps between packs

You don’t need to buy your packs one after another to get your EE Boost – if you have a gap between packs EE will pause counting and carry on as soon as you buy your next pack. You will get your Free Boost as soon as you have bought three 30-day packs or 12 seven-day packs.

You have 60 days to choose your Boost

If you haven’t chosen your Boost after 60 days, you won’t be able to boost your pack allowances until you are eligible for another Boost. EE will send you a text to tell you when you are eligible again, so you don’t miss out.

Changing the duration of your pack

If you change from a 30-day pack (£8 or above) to a seven-day £1 pack, or vice versa, you will lose any Boosts you have and will need to buy the required number of packs again to get another Boost.

If you buy a 30-day £5 pack and change to any other pack or vice versa, you’ll lose any Boosts you’ve earned.

EE Free Boosts on International Packs

EE Boosts minutes and texts can’t be used to call or message abroad from the UK. However, data boosts can be used for video calling so if you want to use your Boost to get in touch with friends or family abroad, it’s best to pick a data boost.
