How does EasySend make money?
EasySend charges set fees and it also adds on a small margin to the interbank exchange rate, which is why the exchange rate you see on Google or XE is different from the one EasySend is quoting. Exchange rate margins vary from company to company.
How to register an account and make your first transfer with EasySend
Click on “Sign up for free” in the top right-hand corner.
Write in your email address and create a password. It will then ask you what language you want to use the service in – click on whatever one you prefer.
Choose how much money you want to send, to where, and how you want the payee to receive it. For transfers under €1,000 you just need to provide personal details. For transfers over that amount, you’ll need to provide documents showing proof of ID and your address.
The first time you make a transfer you’ll need to fill in all your details including your full name, date of birth, address and phone number, which will then be stored on your personal account page.
Write their name, address and all their bank account details. You can also add their email address and any other notes for extra security.
You’ll then be sent to a quick summary page to check all the details are correct.
You can pay by quick online payment using a debit or credit card, or a bank transfer to EasySend’s bank account.
EasySend requires you to have two-step verification set up on your mobile phone for extra security. You’ll get a message checking that it’s you making the transfer and a one-time code to enter. Once you’ve done that, the transfer is in progress.
