ASOS accepts returns on most items within 28 days from the day you receive your order. Items must be in original condition, which means unworn, unwashed and with all tags attached. These items cannot be returned if the hygiene seal has been opened or broken:

  • Underwear

Does ASOS have free returns?

Yes. ASOS offers free returns on all UK orders. To start the process, you simply click “My Orders” on the ASOS website and then choose the “Create Return” option. You have to select the items you’re returning and the reason you’re returning them. Decide which carrier you’d like to return your order with and a unique QR code will be emailed to you. Then, all that’s left to do is take your parcel and QR code to your chosen drop-off point, and the rest will be taken care of by the staff there.

There are multiple options available to you for dropping off your parcel:

  • Collect+ service. No printer required, simply create a QR code by clicking the link and follow the instructions, then drop off your parcel at your nearest participating store. Keep your proof of postage and use the code given to track your package.
  • Royal Mail. No printer required, simply create a QR code by clicking the link and and pop to your post office with your package.
  • Hermes Drop Off Service. You can return your ASOS order via any newsagent or corner shop that offers the Hermes service. Check here to see which locations offer this option.
  • toyou. Take your labelled parcel to the youkiosk or desk at your most convenient ASDA location. Place your parcel in the dropbox or give it to an ASDA colleague.

Does ASOS do exchanges?

No, unfortunately ASOS doesn’t accept exchanges, so you’ll have to return the original item and place a new order.

How do I return an item to ASOS?

To return your ASOS order:

  1. Package the items securely. Make sure the packaging you choose isn’t see-through, and is sealable and waterproof.
  2. Complete and include your returns note that came with the parcel. Securely attach the label to your parcel.
  3. Use one of the carrier options outlined above.

Returns should take around 14 days to be refunded to your account, depending on transit times of the parcel and your chosen payment method.

ASOS discounts and sales

ASOS is known for having frequent sales throughout the year, including discounts that include up to 80% off clothes.

Does ASOS offer student or military discounts?

ASOS offers a 10% student discount which you can sign up for here. Simply register and verify your student status by using your student email address, and your discount will be valid until you graduate!
