Top performer badges in trading today go to Mechel PAO ADRs (MTL, up 6.5%) and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals Inc (ALNY, up 6.2%).

The Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted again on Thursday, giving up 546.80 to end at 33,843.82, extending losses in the stock market’s worst month of the year. The Nasdaq slid 63.86 to close at 14,448.58 and the S&P 500 lost 51.92 to settle at 4,307.54.

Mechel PAO ADRs (MTL) was the dominant gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 6.5% to $4.11.

In second spot for market gains was Alnylam Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ALNY), the NASDAQ company.

It rose 6.2% to reach $188.42.
