The best-performing stocks on the NYSE and Nasdaq trading today were Dollar Tree Inc (DLTR, up 16.5%) and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd ADRs (TEVA, up 3.4%).
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rebounded on Wednesday after taking a massive hit on Tuesday, gaining 90.73 to close at 34,390.72. The Nasdaq, however, slipped, giving up 34.24 to close at 14,512.44 and the S&P 500 edged up 6.83 to end at 4,359.46.

Dollar Tree Inc (DLTR) was the biggest gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 16.5% to $100.52.
“When is a dollar store not a dollar store? When they raise their prices, of course,” said Sheri Bechtel, editor for Finder’s US share trading and investing channel. “Dollar Tree is testing out a new strategy of raising its prices above its eponymous $1 level in some of its stores, a strategy that really speaks to investors as it potentially positions the company for increased revenue. It remains to be seen if this will be the case, but it’s worth keeping an eye on the stock.”

The second-best mover was Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd’s ADRs (TEVA), an NYSE company.
