Today’s top US stocks: Huaneng Power (HNP ↑7.1%), Sasol ADRs (SSL ↑4.1%)

Top performer badges in trading today go to Huaneng Power International (HNP, up 7.1%) and Sasol Ltd ADRs (SSL, up 4.1%).

The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank, giving up 569.38 to close at 34,299.99 and the Nasdaq dove by 423.29 to end at 14,546.68. The S&P 500 lost 90.48 to settle at 4,352.63.

Huaneng Power International (HNP) was the biggest gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 7.1% to $22.09.
