The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank 614.41 to end the session at 33,970.47. The Nasdaq followed suit, giving up 330.06 to close at 14,713.90. The S&P 500 slipped 75.26 to 4,357.73.

AstraZeneca plc ADRs (AZN) was the biggest gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 4.6% to $58.13.
“AstraZeneca saw some gains on the day after reporting progress with a groundbreaking breast cancer drug candidate,” said Sheri Bechtel, editor for Finder’s US share trading and investing team.

Another strong performer was Seagen Inc (SGEN), which trades on the Nasdaq.
