The best-performing stocks trading on the NYSE and Nasdaq today were Affirm Holdings Inc (AFRM, up 7.6%) and Ryanair Holdings Plc ADRs (RYAAY, up 6.7%).

The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 63.07 to close at 34,751.32 and the Nasdaq edged up 20.39 to 15,181.92. The S&P 500 index gave up 6.95 to end at 4,473.75.

Shares in the company rose 7.6% to $118.13.
