Top performer badges in trading today go to Nvidia Corp (NVDA, up 7.4%) and United Parcel Service Inc (UPS, up 7.2%).

The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 15.73 to close at 35,756.88 and the Nasdaq edged up 9.01 to settle at 15,235.72. The S&P 500 index edged 8.31 higher at 4,574.79.

Nvidia Corp (NVDA) was the top gainer today.

Shares in the company rose 7.4% to $248.83.
