Bill.Com Holdings Inc (BILL) was the top gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 25.3% to $274.54.
“Bill.com’s rocket ride may seem puzzling at first blush, because the company missed earnings expectations – by a lot. Analysts expected Bill.com to lose $0.04 per share, but the company reported a $0.07 per-share loss for the fourth quarter, on a pro forma basis. But the company’s fourth-quarter core revenue spiked 86%. Sales climbed 51% for the year, meaning you might not want to dismiss BILL altogether. Just make sure you approach with caution,” said Sheri Bechtel, editor for Finder’s US Share Trading and Investing team.

Second place for market gainers went to Workday Inc (WDAY), a Nasdaq company.
It rose 10.6% to reach $272.82.
“Workday is another stock responding to earnings news today, and, in this case, it might be an indicator of longer-term strength,” said Bechtel. “Workday saw solid second-quarter results, reporting net income of $105.7 million, a massive win compared to the $28 million loss the company sustained during the same period a year ago.”
