The best performing companies in trading today were Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL, up 13.5%) and Carnival (CCL, up 9.4%).
The market capped off the week with a strong rally. The Dow roared ahead 823 points, posting a 2.7% gain on the day and ending the week up 5.3%. The S&P 500 added 3% for the day and 6.7% over five days, while the Nasdaq Composite clocked a 3.3% gain on Friday and an 8.5% advance for the week.

Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL) was the biggest gainer today.
Shares in the company rose 13.5% to $40.94.

In second spot for market gains was Carnival (CCL), the NYSE company.
It rose 9.4% to reach $10.56.
“Carnival said it anticipates better occupancy numbers moving into the summer, which spurred a rally in its stock and in other cruise lines, despite a tough outlook,” said Finder Finance News Editor Ron Prichard.
